I&#8217;m working hard on getting all the Modules to be a state machine so they do not loop inside its code forever.\u00a0\u00a0 This way it just goes into the module displays its screen and checks for user input and leaves.\u00a0 So the main game loop keeps looping all the time.\u00a0\u00a0 You can die in a shop now!!!\u00a0\u00a0 Say if you have a desease and standing in the lobby, if the update hits you with a new update on the desease and takes hit points away you can die in the shop on the lobby floor.\u00a0\u00a0 Poor shop keeper, he has to clean you up.\u00a0 Talking about not being a good customer!!!!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>* <strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Added<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Fatigue has been added to the game. You will get tired over time.\u00a0 Your Embumbrance will increase how fast you become fatigued.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 Once your very tired,\u00a0 then it will start affecting your stats like the original game.<\/li>\n<li>* <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Fixed<\/strong> <\/span>&#8211; Thirst and Hunger stat has been enhanced,\u00a0 while sleeping the amount is reduced while sleeping by 50%.\u00a0 So you get hungry\/thirsty<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 slower while sleeping like the original<\/li>\n<li>* <span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Added<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Rotating indicator on status panel like the dungeon has been added to show when time is advancing.\u00a0 In many shops(Interactive areas) <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 the time doesn&#8217;t change ever, thirst, hunger and etc never changes when sitting at these menus.\u00a0\u00a0 I&#8217;ve started changing all modules to not get stuck<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 in loops causing it to have its own loop for drawing screen and getting inputs.\u00a0\u00a0 They go through the main game loop and time is updated.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 So sitting at a menu in say shop, time will progress and you might leave and it be dark now.\u00a0 Or desease will affect you standing the the lobby.<\/li>\n<li>* <strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Added<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; ViewPort size menu option.\u00a0 You can select between &#8220;Small&#8221; and &#8220;Large&#8221;.\u00a0 Small is the normal viewport like the original. Large is full screen <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 below the status panel.<\/li>\n<li>* <span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Added<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Title songs with text has been added to the main menu.\u00a0 Also, in the background,\u00a0 stars fly by like the original. \u00a0<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 It will play it at random intervals.\u00a0 You can stop is by pressing &#8220;S&#8221; or start is by &#8220;P&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>* <strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Added<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; You have 3 screen sizes to select from.\u00a0 Orignal of 672&#215;512, 1344&#215;1024 or fullscreen.\u00a0 The game will just scale all items for the last two <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 screen options.<\/li>\n<li>* <span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Added<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Put in more of the gate sequence features the original had.\u00a0 You now have the electric fence effect, and also after selecting your stats.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The screen will be erased just like the original 8-bit\/16-bit The City game.<\/li>\n<li>* <strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Added<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; You now have the ability to select the different graphics options like 8-bit\/16-bit\/Alternative, and now you do not have to restart the game.<\/li>\n<li>* <span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Added<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Game Configuration now saves on exit of the game.\u00a0 So manually editing of the ini file is required.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a small udpate on what all has changed from the 0.83\u00a0 version of ARX to the Java Edition that is related to the game.\u00a0 Nothing about inside code changes between the two.
